Covenant's worship team has a history of using "secular" music to illustrate points in their contemporary worship services. I think this can really bring the message home for folks because they get a fresh perspective on a song they've heard hundreds of times. For this service I had already transitioned to full time production, but was fortunate that our new worship leader, Shea Watts, was gracious enough to let me play from time to time.
