I firmly believe that when you are blessed with an abundance of talent you step aside and let your volunteers lead. This was a fortunate day when we had 5 strong singers and so I chose "Crowded Table" by The Highwomen as our offertory song. In addition to selecting the song, I also transcribed the piece including vocal harmonies so that our singers and musicians could learn their parts either by reading notation or listening to a track ahead of time. I think it's important to prep your leaders in they way that best sets them up for success.
